Softer springs won't allow the truck to have as much rebound, meaning the truck won't raise back up like it does now, and will stay down like your Maxx does.

true, never thought about that.

but yes uptravel is all im trying to do. so maybe spacers is all i need. i was thinking i can just some some fuel tubing. but i think they would wear out after sometime. something hard would suit this better.
how bout some pistons??? i was thinking of using these :

any other ideas as spacers?
maybe put 2-3 in each shock?
