They most certainly will fail immedietely! I stripped a rear diff in a stock mini revo. I never checked the slipper setting and it was basically locked, combined with 3s it stripped in about 3 packs

humm......i was sorta thinking they mite stand a chance after dropped the my monster into a radioshack boat last year. that thing had a plastic coupler that fit inside an e-maxx CVD (were it attaches to the tranny. so it was about 4mm thick). that coupler even had a hole in it for the screw to slip threw and it lasted for a wile before the spacers started to melt making the resictance so great that it could only rev up about half way

it's not actually for the revo. it would be for a custom build.

Even though the mini revo is actually a pretty solid truck "for what it is".
IMHO Go for it and make plenty of vidas i think it will be short lived
