I am sorry to hear that about your wife Jerry. I have never known someone with a disorder/illness of such, but I have a feeling that it would greatly affect the partner in the relationship.

I would agree with the idea of the fall of the mighty dollar. Humans have survived on less, and will continue to do so. I find it amazing that life now is revolving around money. Think about it, you pay for your food, your shelter, your clothing, you pay to have your waste removed, you pay to have someone groom you, you pay for your transportation, etc. I can go on and on, it really is a nightmare. There has to be a change soon, as the dollar and the systems held in place for the dollar are already showing signs of age and failure. It may need an extreme change, nuclear war, massive outbreak, but once that happens people will be forced to go back to the way we once lived.

Hi.I feel for you jerry2kone.It's hell living with someone who's ill in this way.I'm "lucky" my girlfriends got depression too.She lost her whole family except her dad and sis to cancer,and her mum was a little "tweaked" too. She's stuck it out so far. I had a friend ,iq of 150,got stuck in social housing(you can't hold down a job with depression) The landlord moved junkies(crack H amphets ,basically everything) in on his floor,The bastards held him down and injected him with a speed H coctail "to see what happens" He killed himself 2 years ago.So society can be slightly to blame. By the way,we're not named mentalists after the crap US "mindreader" TV prog .We're mentalists cause we're proffessionally mental. Living with a mentalist mum is a nightmare.Mines battered me,my sis,my dad, she'd dissapear for weeks,leaving us not knowing. She hates herself ,like I hate me.I'm pointless ,One of my psych's told me from her own mouth Quote" You don't know what depression is like ,if you've never had it"end quote. We tend to turn to drugs.I was an alchy,no beer for over 4 years though.It was the only thing that works,.Oh well nothing I can do about it.
