So what would be wrong with a MMP and a 1409 Neu? I think by dimensions, it's the same size as a 1/10 scale motor.

BTW unless you already have the 5mm gears, 32p 1/8 shaft size pinions are available, if that's the route you go.

I'll be useing the Rc Monster Ten conversion in my Project!
Good news.... I picked up a Brand New Roler for $200....
So the project is on.... Kit will be orderd soon from the Monster and then I'll have to gear the thing.... This is the plan!
To the Roler I add the RC Monster Conversion, Two cell lipo, I have a Tekin R1 with a 4.5 turn equivelent motor. I need to figure out some starter gearing for it and a Dif. oil that will make this baby handle. I'll run SCT rims on it and a Jconcepts SCT Body. I'll run it with the 4WD Slash... man they are gonna cry. But its just the local club raceing and the only requirements are 1/10 scale Esc and Motor! Any help will be much Aptrciated....
