i used real duck tape. Someothers are having no problems using it but i seriously am resulting in the mentioned problems.
Gorilla tape is meant to be extremely sticky stuff..
Something i will be trying next time definitely. These tyres have no option but to be strapped, i guess gorilla tape should work very well. I havent head anyone say they have had probs with it yet...
I think the tape your refering to is called strapping tape,I see it in my LHS for reinforcing aircraft wings.it's some tough stuff it doesn't stretch at all and it will stick for a fairly long time as long as it's dry.--Josh

It's also much lighter than duct tape... I've used it with my Boweties... works well... Very sticky stuff... not that easy to remove if the surface is cleaned correctly.
hmmm i remember strapping tape being quite gd... but the only time i used it, i put only 1 layer or it around the centre, and it was obviously not enough as it came off my 3rd high speed pass.... The gorilla tape looks like my next option and using plenty of it!
If that doesn't work you could always put fishing lone around the outside.I've never tried it but the ones I've seen don't seem to stretch even less.--Josh

The micro logger is in my experience much easier to use. Its also cheaper to do most things with. The V3 150amps will read to 190 amps - the stand 100 amp loger reads to 120 amps - after that tere is no more data as the sensors saturate
The 150 runs much cooler, however where the wires solder to the boards is the fragile spot. It can get hot enough to melt, so check heat before sending it off for an indefnite run.
BTW have you tried the glass fibre reinforced tapes? Also 3M make some excellent polyester tapes backed with acrylic adhesive. Pricey but very tough.

Recently i have been having problems bending dog bones (not from the torque) but from doing cartwheels and the A arms would bend (as they should) but my drive shafts would take the force. So im wondering how you find the FLM Kit? and is it the extended kit which makes the truck wider? Are they strong? (i probably wouldnt ever jump my truck if i had alloy a arms but they would be good for driving around and maybe very small jumps...)
I really have not had the time to do some challenging stunts yet, so I do not know if the FLM's will hold up or not. The drive shaft seem to be very strong though..
I contacted EagleTree and got the suggestion to get any of the Loggers with HV option and 300 amp option => 350 bucks more.. Not an obvious investment (yet)..
As for tape - I started searching the 3M homepage but had some problems navigating in it. These tapes are very expensive, but so is a number of blown out Tires, especially if it results in a crash. I'll guess I have to consider this some more time as well.
At the moment I an just awaiting the new wheels and the parts for the water-cooler, perhaps I should put on a pair of old 1/8 buggy wheels just to wear the out while waiting..
There's also a company in Germany that makes high AMP dataloggers, but I can't remember their name right now. I'll look for the website I saved and post it here when I find it. If someone knows it, please post it.
I thought the new Schulze controllers came with data logging capability.
