i thought about those, but it's for a traditional 8ight mount. the collar of the pinion where the set screw places dosen't quite clear the inside part of the mount. it needs to be a smaller collar. that's kinda why i was thinking about an extension of some sort. almost like Mike's bore reducer. i may really have to hack up the mount to use it.

thanks for the idea though. it might be a last resort option to make the center hole of the mount bigger. then the tekno pinions would work.

no pics yet, it's not quite finished. it's a feigao 6L motor on a traditional losi 8ight motor mount. by the time i use Mikes front endbell protector and endbell clamp, i'm out of room.
