I have an RC-Monster Chassis on my RC8T. Mine has sustained MANY bad landings and crashes through almost two years of racing. I am starting to get some cracks running forward in that area, not across like yours. But I know how my cracks started and it was from losing the screw that holds the chassis brace to the chassis!

Mine was the same. Started to tear, then bent the brace, then broke the chassis.

Like evereyone is saying, looks odd to crack straight across without fatiguing first.
