The issue was for one day with MM that were updated via the USB port - Have way through the ESC update the firmware support for the onboard USB was removed.

It was a glitch in the release that was fixed quickly - I'm not aware of any issues with the MMM.

This person on the Traxxas forum does ---> Traxxas forum.Also on the another forum a few people claimed the the beta software ruined their MM pro.
