Got the last of my 3 orders. 2142-7225-4839, missing 3424-1800 34mm 1800KV 24 Stack Motor.

Really sucks because it was for my friend's new heli kit, which is just sitting there waiting for a motor.

I've just searched this thread for ''6mm'' since my 1717 Air also has a 6mm shaft like others but didn't find a CC response. So whats up with this? Can we order a 5mm shaft or ... ?

The car version has a 5mm shaft.

Yes they will send you a 5mm rotor...

I was able to change this before it shipped, you will be receiving the car version.

We have very very few replacements rotors with a 5mm shaft that we can send. Shoot me an e-mail at thomas (at) castlecreations (dot) com and I'll let you know if we have any.

This was a mistake on the website and should be corrected shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If the 6mm version will not work for you and we run out of replacement rotors, the only options would be to return the motor for a full refund, grind down the shaft to 5mm or pull a 5mm shaft out of a 1717 car version.

It appears we may have sold out of this motor. I will go down to the warehouse on Monday and see if inventory is incorrect. We have not charged your card for the motor, and if we are truly out of stock, we will not be able to ship one. I apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may cause.

on the other hand, I did get my 1717 car version. I was worried I was going to get the air version.

It turns out we had more motors than what our inventory originally stated. This is not going to be a problem. The 1520 motor will be added back to the clearance page soon.

Please let me know if I missed anyone's question or concern.

The 1717-1500 has 2 flats milled on it. Flat to flat is 46mm. Off the flats the can diameter is 49.5mm. The 1717-1500 will work on the Align Trex 600 with motor mount mods (holes opened up for larger screws to fit holes in the motor).

Got my 1520 that i ordered last Friday; no shipping notice, it just came.

I had a total of 1717 Air version and all have the 6mm shaft and the car has 5 mm shaft. Just letting you guys know that it will be a problem for the pinion selection for the Air version. Just email them as they have an outstanding customer service team.
