Status report!

Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I woke up later than I wanted to, and got out to the Marina. Met up with Sy, a local racer, he brought his Proboat. It was bl on 4s. He is handicapped so we were goofing around near the boat dock, his chair doesn't do sand. See circled area.

This side has little to no bend to the beach and left me with little to work with. I tried to line up a straight section of that beach that went into the water for a bit than out. Well after the first attempt, which took a steer for the worst since there was no real good land to water to land straight, the Switch for the ESC got water logged and started a series of glitching. I had forgotten the switch, since the MMM's switch never had this problem. But I got back home aired everything out and it worked fine. Back to the drawing board.

Sorry guys I was a bit upset that I didn't get anything completed. But Sy made me feel better, he dropped his radio in the water towards the end of his second battery, thankfully I was within range to grab the hull of the boat before it shot off on its own.

Was some good news though. Sy and I set up the two for one race before we started screwing around, mine on land and his in the water. I am about 10-15 mph faster. So seeing as his Proboat is very similar to my buddies supervee. I am thinking I may have the advantage in speed. As long as I do not lose too much momentum in the water, or lose control, this is a sign of things looking up for me.
