Strange noise comming from my monster

Did you check the things I listed? Might be an easy solution.

And did you manually turn the motor? Is the sound coming from the motor itself?

If it turns out to be the motor and you decide to open it, there's not really anything you need to know except to only use a reasonable amount of force with everything you do to it.
