bryan RC-Monster Carbon Fiber Offline Posts: 489 Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: maryland	09.16.2010, 06:37 PM If you are getting ringtones from it without the motor connected i would run from it like scooby doo cause its haunted. As ARCT1K stated sparks are normal,and it isnt possible for the esc to ring w/out being connected to a motor. I have no idea why the battery wires would be getting above ambient temp. by simply making the connection?
