Question?? - 09.17.2010, 09:25 PM

no thay would not let me into the service as i was only 115lbs at 22 and i WANTED to Badly

I'm confused. What does weighing 115lbs have to do with getting into the Navy? When I joined in 1977 I was 118lbs and weight not even mentioned during my enlistment. Plus I was a boot camp drill instructor for 5 1/2 years from 90 to 96 and there was no minimum weight requirement. During that time the only weight concerns we worked on was for overweight people, and we busted their a$$ to help them lose that extra weight. In fact I had one recruit who lost over 100lbs in 8 weeks of my cycling him every single chance I got.
