Well, my research is now complete.  Edit: Now, I have to admit it looks as though the wires on that motor are still an extension of the stator coils because they are retaining that bend pretty well. It might say "OK to shorten" just because of the added length of those extensions. But why would they say that? I know stator extensions are a PITA to solder. I've done it. :) |
