How to Stuff Large Castle Motors into an E Revo?

Ok, I've had a chance to get a couple of runs in on the 1518 1800kv motor.

Gearing is 24/52 on 4S. According to Brian's Speed Calculator, this is about 40mph.

Power is fed from 2 - 4S 4000mah 20C Turnigy Packs ran parallel.

This motor makes really good power and doesn't break a sweat.

Temps are about 70 degrees outside and I'm sure the motor barely got to 110 degrees. Very efficient! I predict this motor will live a very long time.

It took awhile before any heat could be detected at all. I didn't take it easy on it either.

I must try it on 6S.
