Just to bring things upto date:
 Stock 3908 aint got sh!t on this baby..  27/62 for 45mph on 5s lipo.  Forgot to take a picture when I was assembling it, but you can see the 6 metal slipper pads in there- they aint gonna crumble apart in a hurry.  Got myself a nice Turnigy neckstrap/ lanyard for £5- balance of the controller is perfect so it stays near enough level when you take your hands away
