Only 8s....really? I thought at least 10s was expected out of this XL esc.

The HV will have a lower current, higher voltage -- just like you said -- yields similar power output, but at higher voltage.

Great!, I just ordered 3 Mamba XL for my 1/8th scale.. Can't wait for the HV version.. maybe 14 or 15S would be possible.. instead of 12S?..
