Got some good news!

I called him today, got through 2nd time. He seems a great guy on the phone, he gave me the tracking number, it WAS posted exactly when he said and it currently pending customs in the UK. :)

Now all I have to do is hope it's the right one, lol.

Even if this is all good, I don't think I'll order from him again, in person, he seems great to deal with but probably not for internet orders!

I'll never order from finedesignrc again. Chris is an asshole imo. Here's why I say that: I ordered a Lehner from them about a year ago, and received NO information after placing the order--no tracking info, nothing that even said that they had received my order, or payment. After a week of no word on my order status, I began e-mailing them. After a few days of no e-mail reply, I decided to give them a call. After two days of calling, leaving messages, asking politely that he either call me back, or reply to my e-mails, I finally had someone (Chris) actually answer the phone. (That makes it about two weeks with NO communication about my order whatsoever.) When I told him why I was calling Chris responded by telling me that "he knew who I was, and why I was calling." He went on to tell me in an annoyed tone that my motor was on its way, but that "if I could take the time to call him, and leave messages on his machine, that I had to much time on my hands," at which point he hung up on me. I was speechless. He acted like updating me on the status of my order was somehow doing me a favor, and doing so was a huge pain in his ass. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but that's not how I expect, or want to be treated by companies I am spending my hard earned cash with. So, yeah; they'll never get another dime of my money. Besides, I've heard much better things about Offshore, so if I need another motor like this, that's where I'll be going.

Sometimes you have to cross the line to figure out where it is.

This is pretty much the same for every other horror story I found searching the net!

Hopefully the motor is the correct one, then I'm happy.
