for the spur, if you really cant tighten it enough... unscrew the 3 screws that hold the top part of the tranny... and then grip the spur really tightly with your whole hand and then tighten the bolt...

Where did you get the spacers?

Spacers came from aluminumspacers.com
They have just about all the sizes you can think of. Pretty cheap too!
