Cool. What are you doing your chassis in? Aluminum? Carbon Fiber? And what thickness?

I was getting a bit disappointed with the 19" wb truck, and really considered ditching the project. But after seeing it with the 5t body on I am ready to do more work.

Aluminum, 6061. Not sure on the thickness, must be slightly thicker than the stock flux tvps. I plan to make a full length skidplate for the bottom and to tie the chassis together well between the bulks and the trans case. In the front I will have a crossbrace for the top of the steering posts and a few more cross braces for the battery platform. Behind the tranny there will be the stock nitro motor plate and braces, and a platform for the esc. I will also cut the right side tvp so it has a large window for the 1717 motor to stick thru. This will keep the cross section of the chassis thick. I would like to make some X braces to go between the tvps, behind the motor and behind the steering posts. Might just use some thick al for those. I want to make sure the chassis is strong in all directions, and in torsion too.
