Losi 8 mount and a 1717

Linc, good to know the 1518s not an issue, aside from gearing options (going to go as small as I can without clearance issues).
Feeling a little stupid not having considered shimming it up LOL.

OD, I've got the CC mount in the buggy right now and it's 28mm above the chassis to the center of the motor, so it clears there.
The issue with it is that the motor mounting flat is recessed into the face of the mount so it would take some milling back to work with the 1717.

I do have the RCM universal diff/motor mount, I think if I recess the two screws below the motor that hold the mount together I could use it with the 1717.
It puts the motor over the driveshaft as opposed to next to it, I'll just have to drill new holes in the chassis...
