Sounds like a good explanation to me. I think next time I'll use regular blue loctite instead of what comes with the CVD's. Dunno if that will make a difference, but it can't hurt.

I always put a notch in the pins so it's a lot harder for them to slip out of place. Here are some good detailed instructions. http://www.hpiracing.com/walkthroughs/rebuild-cvd.htm
