I am now waiting on some 50.000 oil for the CD, and some VTEC kamikaze premounts that I hope will survive with some throttle control In the meantime I am testing my new LRP buggy, with great results

The premounts and 50k oil came just after I posted earlier, I quickly took apart and cleaned the centre spider diff and filled it with 50k. Damn that stuff is like honey, thick I reasssembled the truck having never removed the 1518 from the mount, I thought then I wouldn't need to set the gear mesh again.

When done the car wouldn't move, the spur was locked against the chassi. I almost installed the regular diff since it has more clearence, but I tried again without the heavy motor on the mount. Luckily that did the trick, the spur now just clear the chassi.

I first tried the wheels/tires I used earlier that came with the used car. I was happy to find that with the 50k the "old" tires worked fine with only normal/tolerable amount of balooning. So now I have nice balanced spares for when those are worn. The VTEC premounts looks just perfect, I am looking forward to trying them.

The diff setup was now quite good for someone without much truggy experience, like me. (f-c-r, 10k-50k-10k). Might try 20k in the front. I only got to empty half of my battery, because it started raining but OMG truggy's are FUN! The 1518 is a beast. I have another motor I wan't to try as well, a feigao 580L 8L of 1600kv Before you laugh at me, I got the motor almost for free and I want to know how well it can do in a truggy.
