4wd with an aluminum(guessing based on pics) chassis is a lot for that spur gear to deal with.

I think geared low enough, it would stand up to a basic brushless setup with adjusted punch turned all the way down. If there was some way to mod a slipper into that spur gear, I'd be willing to think it could take normal speeds for that chassis to keep up with the other 4wd short course trucks.
