If i go for the upgrade, it'll be the 3800kv motor, for two reasons. 1. its the biggest setup that's ROAR legal (like i really care, but you never know) for modified class. and 2. I always go for lowest kv i can. I believe using the lowest kv motor possible, adds to the efficiency of the setup. I know in drag racing and most other racing, the need for extreme efficiency is not necessary. I aim to race, when i can this year, with nitro's and need the best efficiency i can find. I am already working on a combo that should be good for an hour+ in race conditions, using a lehner basic xl 1200 motor and a quark 80 esc and anywhere from 3s to 5s lipo's depending on gearing and race length

BTW, this is going into a stadium truck. I know, Good luck finding a race, but they're are still a few racing them

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I am not convinced that the 2 poles lehner motors have a better efficiency than the 4 poles neu motors for car applications (high and low load, not constant load).

Inferno VE MMv3 NEU-CC 1515/1Y 4S "Flying machine"

MBX5T Prospec MMv3 NEU-CC 1520/1Y 6S "Overkill Flying machine" ;)

Brushless, what else ?

I'm not too worried about which is better or more efficient, I'm more about the kv of the motor and its effect on efficiency. If i had a Neu/medusa in the same kv range, i might use it
