The newer emaxx style diffs ( 3903/05/08 ) are something of an improvement over old 3906 diffs, but they are still fatally flawed. They still use only 4 spider gears, plastic diff cup and cases- put much power through them and the spider gears get shredded, as do the ring & pinion gears.

In future I would start a new thread in the T/E-maxx parts or General Discussion sections, rather than posting an unrelated question in an old dormant build thread.
