Thought i would just mention. I weighed the flux fully loaded with 9s worth of lipos and it comes in at 18.7lbs which is better than i thought. I was expecting closer to 20+lbs.

The majority of the weight is in the heavy baja wheels and the lipos. So im quite happy.
I believe the 1520 motor should be enough. It is geared for 42mph on 6s and gearing will be kept the same for 9s. Temps will be monitored closely, but i belive everything should be fine. It was originally geared for 56mph on 6s when it weighed 16.5lbs, and temps were in the 130 for the esc, motor and 100 for the lipos. We will see how it goes.

Yeah thats not bad. I was at 16.4 with the 5T conversion, with Baja wheels/tires, and 6S batteries.

I'm interested to see how it goes with 9S but geared for 6S on the 1520.
