My has gone over 300 mph.

While flying in my dad's plane.

Real speed, I clocked my erevo around 76 and my LST2 at around 67 and lost interest in speed after that.

Well I am picking up a Serpent 960 on Monday. Not sure how it is going to go but I am hoping for some decent speed out of it. Going to fit Tekin RX8/T8 2250kv setup in it. Hope I can find a way of fitting a decent 6S battery setup in it but will have to do some measurements and go from there. I hope I can get a decent enough of a size 6S battery in there but worst case scenario or might end up being 5S or 4S only. As for speed I don't know but I hope I can make it go pretty fast. I would like to get close to 80mph with it at least.

I had my E-revo get up to 72mph (GPS measured) but I think I could have gone faster had I had some foam wheels. Rubber MT tires are just not designed to live at those speeds even with taping.

My RC8Be has been up to 74mph. I thought I was going to blast past the Revos set speed but I am having really big issues with controlling this car once I go past 70mph. It's like that the front end gets really light and hardly responds to the steering input. I think I might need to remove some of the rear wing. I have seen youtube vids of the RC8Be going much faster but I haven't figured it out as yet how to.

I have a few other cars that are pretty powerful but never really cared for making them go too fast. My XTM Rail is very fast with the CC 1515 1Y in there but it just isn't the type of car for speed runs. Same deal with my CC 1520 1Y equipped RC8T FT truggy. Much happier bashing them in a park than trying to break the speed barrier. LOL.
