cheating and racers

I agree 100%. I used to race in the mid to late 90s on an indoor track. Sadly the owner of that track/hobby shop was shot and killed when a meth head robbed him for cash so he could get his next fix. After that there was only an outdoor track to race on, but you had to belong to a club and the people were real asshats. I went to one race and that was it. It was no longer about friendly fun and was more about (insert charlie sheen moment) WINNING WINNING WINNING and having the latest gratest most expensive gadgets (like electric tire warmer covers for your RC10-T3) It was way too competitive to be any fun for me, and I hated the people by the end of the day. I put all my stuff up for sale the next day and got out of the hobby, all thanks to these uber competitive asshats.

People cheat in life in general in any way they can, i.e. r/c racing, slacking at work, livin' off the government etc., etc.

I don't associate with those people as I hold myself to a higher standard.

Life isn't fair in any aspect, even r/c racing. Be the best person/r-c racer you can be and let others do what they do.

At the end of the day you will have more, and better friends. Which is way more rewarding than an ill gotten race win. Live and let live

the whole livin off the government thing has been getting worse and more people seem to be doing it. it just pains me to see a lazy ass drunk get a pretty impressive disability check for a faked back injury. another example is a dude who still lives with his wealthy parents and collects unemployment to fund his growing heroin addiction. 100% of his government check goes straight to drugs, just like so many people who abuse welfare.

i have no problem with welfare, when it is used properly. for example, if somebody is genuinely disabled, or at least uses the money for something productive, like paying bills, buying food, etc, then i don't see any real issues with it.
