I have a MMM V3 I WP Immediately upon receiving it.
I have beat it to piss thermaled it over a dozen times fan kicks on 5 mins into my runs.
I have dipped it and tripped it and That Bad boy still rox your sox.
It started out in a Slash 4x4 with a 2650 running 4S never thermaled there.

Now for the last 6 Mos it has been residing in a xtm rail I modded for maximum BEATABILITY supper beefcake this XTM Rail is with a few mods with a 2200 geared 16/46 on 4S occasional 6S.

The 2650 Is in another rail I aquired by trading a merv.
Scored a Blur ESC (aka MMM that wont accept beta firmware no biggie)off Craigslist for $60.
WP that and it has served for 5 months now exquisitely.

Tape up your HS to keep excessive liquid tape off HS.
Ad caps for insurance IMO.

On my main rail I have cut most the ESC case away and secured it on the HS exposing HS keeping the unit cooler.
That solved my thermaling =).
IMO MMM = Excellent tronics really craptastic case.

I am contemplating potting them next to dump the case altogether and possibly add on a modded HS.
I have some stock AMD CPU coolers that would uberrize cooling if I can separate the HS w/o murdering the fets.

Also, keep in mind that attaching a large/heavy heatsink to the FETs places quite a strain on them physically. I would find some way to secure the heatsink in other ways to relieve the stress...

Well of coarse,I plan on machining material and using the heat sink as an anchor for the ESC after I pot it.
the HS is going to in essence be the case.

Wont that be an interesting "Non warentee return"?
Only worry is high G loads I brutally subject my land missiles too.
I subject My Rails to hell in a hand basket every drive out.

What kind of thermal cement is on the MMM?
Ill attempt to find a deactivator for it.
