I noticed you dremeled out part of the chassis for the spur....another option and what I did under my center diff mount is install some small washers. I needed more clearance for the 1520 CC motor I am running in my mbx5t. Nice job.

In looking at the same pic again, I would definitely add washers under you center diff mount just to bring it up a bit more


1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

Because the X1 uses a 62t spur the CVD angle was unconfortably high. There wasn't any binding, but its already a large angle due to the height of the center diff.

You can almost see the extreme angle of the CVDs in this pic.

I didn't take any good pics of the angle. But in order to make it fit I needed to put 4mm of washers under the diff to raise it up enough so the spur didn't contact the chassis.

I wish I had a drill press, or a mill then I could have done it a ton cleaner. But all I had was a dremel and a grinding stone.
