Forget it. They said that they were going to bring them out and then changed their minds. Really sucks as I was hoping to run both of them on 8S for a few packs and then go back to 6S. Not so keen on it now.

Why not? the 1520 on 8s is about the same rpm as the 2200 on 6s? Shouldn't be a problem at all. And the 1518 will only be a bit more.

I know what you are saying. I already did the math but I just don't feel like pushing these motors too hard since no rebuild kits are available. I would hate for one of the rotors to let go and then it become a fancy paper weight.

I have already tried the 1520 on 8S for about a minute and it was awesome but I didn't want to wind it out anywhere near it's full speed. Also ran the 1717 on 8S too for couple of packs but that was crazier than two story outhouse. I just wish I could get rebuild kits for them so if something was to go wrong then I could rebuild them.

Maybe un a near futur, a Xo1 motor rebuilt kit will bo offer. ( for the 1717 one )
