A simple center diff (or spool) and motor mount is the way to go. No offense to your fine work Aqwut, but the extra gears used to install a gasser just don't seem necessary for electric use.

In the photo at the start of this thread, looks like MCD is going with a center spool. The Redcat Rampage XBE also uses a spool. I'm curious to see how converted Losi 5ive-Ts make out with center diff temperatures in the long run.

Non taken, I like to keep things stock as possible for ease of parts replacement. Plus, using a big motor you would need support for back end bell as well. If I had the machining skills, I would have done it different.

Xb-e mount and a rampage mount would be welcomed .
