In the states I agree it should be up to the individual if they wear a helmet because you have to pay for your own treatment should you injure yourself however in the U.K where the taxpayer have to pay its not fair to make the majority suffer from a careless individual...

In Florida anyone 16 & under is required to wear a helmet, while riding a Bicycle. Anyone over 16 is free to make there own choice. I personally wear a helmet on my bike. This is the one i wear http://www.louisgarneau.com/us-en/pr...DIAMOND_HELMET. It fits so good, most of the time i forget i am wearing a helmet. I can even leave the chin strap undone & my helmet stays in place.
