If anyone can pick up a book and design / build a motor, tell me, why did no one in China start producing 4,6,8,10 pole motors until shortly after the likes of Castle & Tekin did? Previously, you had to turn to Neu ( American ) & Aveox ( Neus former employers, also American ) in order to get a 4 pole motor ( not forgetting Mega motors or Plettenberg ( German ) ). It was only after the boom of BL ( rtr ) r/cs that China suddenly decided they wanted in on the action, and suddenly you see dozens of different brands all selling near-identical motors to the established American & European brands- to say nothing about escs either.

Tenshock is a chinese brand, which have developped their own motors. the design of their 6-8 pole-motors is unique, not a rip-off of any american model. afaik Hacker is getting their motors made in China for ages now, this is not a secret.

It's a bit easy to say that they are only doing cheap copies (just like Turkey, Thailand etc) or cheap stuff. It's not not only like that anymore, folks should get used to that. sure, there's a lot of rip-off, but that's not the hole story.

Example: The Carerra race cars, once made in Germany, have been made in China for many years. Like that, they can provide much better quality then in Germany, and that finally kept the brand from getting bankrupt. they were about to close down Carrera, cos the production in Germany was too lame, bad quality, too expensive.

Probably the best notebooks available are made by an chinese brand, Lenovo Peking (they took over the IBM laptops).

It's a bit odd to complain about china, but wearing sneakers, jeans made in China...

Top Gear is in my opinion the best show on tv, wish their seasons were longer. Did you see the copied BMX X5? Funny stuff.

Looks like a Tekin motor shell.
