Odd electronics behavior, delayed throttle & steering response

I have a Castle BEC to, no problems with a pretty hungry servo?
Did you remove the red wire from the ESC wire that goes to the receiver?

The BEC should be soldered to the power leads of the ESC, so the wires to/from the battery.
As long as they are soldered on to there, it should be good.
Check out the Castle site for a wiring diagram, that should be in the package of the BEC to.

Are you sure that you receiver and servo both can handle the voltage you set the BEC to?
