Does the motor have damage?
Can't you just replace the bearing?
I don't have a problem with 1/8" shafts i never had one ever break and I have owned many older castle motors( mostly 1/10 but they were good). I do not doubt the strength, i just didn't want to have to get a new pinion unless i needed to. I never liked adapters. rather get a proper pinion. But thank you for the link
