I've never ran brushless and at least heard of a ubec....I kinda new to the BL scene but am learning fast! The guys at my lhs are way clueless....their favorite word is huh? Or, no we don't carry that, and then you walk through the iles and there it is! hmmmmm, stay off the nitro i say!

here is a alternative for you......till you can get a UBEC....goto radio shack and pick up a 4 cell AA holder and solder a servo plug to the end of it......red/red & black/black and then remove the extra wire....out of plug....then plug it into the slot on the receiver...labeled batt......make sure the black wire is the same way as your servo wires.......pick up some 3mm screws from a hardware store and you could be up and running in a half hour or so....just a thought for ya...
