i understand, but the speed and power is what is wanted i guess in the number of cells. i bought 20, but may just go 16-18

I can understand that speed and power is wanted.....at one time I went upto 16 cells on my 1895..and yes it had insane speed and power...but two much...so I dropped back down to 12 cells...and I actually have just as much fun ....but I also undestand that some of the motors you guys are running don't "wake up" till you up the cell count and the rmp's.....but just be carefull.......my question is simple.....would you rather have a couple of run's at say 18 or 20 cells and a fried controller or continued faithfull use by running a lower cell count.....just don't become to greedy for speed and power and fry the controller....and we all know they are not cheap....just be carefull is all I'm saying...and with speed and power comes risks..
