MGM 160/16 Programing w/Computer?

I have a micro 2095 and I can program anything from the timing to hard or soft start up ect......I did program my old 1895 ....by adjusting the timing up from 15 degrees to 30....and then in between........after doing this my heatshrink around the controller became noexistant....it melted away.....I eventually went back to 15 degrees, and put new heatshrink around it
