Sneecks exactly right. The 9XL will also run cooler and have just as much power with the appropriate gearing.

i plan on getting a wanderer

7xl has a kv of 2145, 41,184 rpm

8xl has a kv of 1875, 36,000 rpm

9xl has a kv of 1667, 32,006 rpm

i guess those are loaded kv ratings:032:

how would i gear the 9xl to get the same speed and acceleration as the 7xl? would it still beat the pants off a nitro? :005:
