lol! Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I like thi splace already! first off thanks guys for any and all input. Much appreciated.
As for the g2r weighing more, aluminum is heavier than plastic correct? I dont wanna point any fingers, but *cough* Sylvester *cough* told me about the g2r being heavier.

Doesnt the g2r make the truck sit lower? Is it bashable still? I want some good clearance. I may have to break down and buy it... looks cool. ANyone know how much lighter the CF version is?

Now as for the long run times, and switching to a 8000 pack.... whats the point? Any pros and cons? Im all about run time, and temperature... oh and alittle reliability doesnt hurt. :)

So 7turn you say? Is the 2250 lehner overkill? I want an abundance of power on tap.

Thanks guys, im nearing the day when I order it all up, just wanna make sure Im doing this right.

VERY NICE Revo by the way. kudos.
True truggies are fast, but I still dont like em. Pimped race rig if Ive ever seen one though.

my apologies about the g2r weight issue. Should have did some research before piping off.
cheers everyone.

if you like them more monster like then i'd stick with your original plan for the chassis, only thing is the length of those big packs may be easier to fit in the G2R.Just see what dimensions you can fit in before you order the packs.

The g-maxx is still very bashable, the carbon g2 is 190grams so the g2r a little more than that,220g maybe?

only dissadvantages of all that Mah is size/weight and charge time.you'd want a charger that could charge them at close to 1c(12 amps for 12Ah).charging at 1c takes 70mins or so including the trickle charge at the end,so at 8 amps it could take a couple of hours.then if you have to charge them one at a time then that's like half the day gone.Just need to find the right charger though.

you might want to consider going up in voltage to get more power and runtime.i get around 25-30 mins from just 3Ah with a 1950/10 on 7s. 6s 8000 would run forever and give more power than the 4s and may be easier/cheaper to find a charger to charge at 1c.

Yes the 2250 is a bit much,it destroys stuff, revo diffs would have to be lucky.
