so ineed external bec so i can run my 12cells?
what if i run 1 pack of 4200mah 2s2p lipos?will it make a difference versus 12cells of 3800mah packs in series?

and so after i take that center red wire i can just plug my batts or i need to do something else?and will i still need the external bec?or i can put the external bec and leave the red wire connected?

2s2p is only 7.4v so you would need a 4s2p to run like 12 cells (14.4v) (actually you wuold run better on lipo)

You also NEED AN EXTERNAL BEC like a UBEC or RECIVER PACK. you can't just pull out the red wire. (you need it disconected with UBEC).

so do i still need the UBEC if i connect the rx hump pack?
connecting the rx pack will solve this?can some one pls show me a pic of the wires?
btw the quark125b can run 5s?so the 4s2p will let me run it without the bec or i still need it?
