i currently have a emaxx tranny locked in 2nd....with a 66/13, topend is nice but it does run quite warm...

my dom slipper just got shipped in but have yet to pick it up from the LHS..so i am unsure what the spur size is....

as i wont be upgrading my BL system anytime soon, i wouldnt wanna spend all that effort grafting the dom slipper onto my gmaxx only to find that i cant gear down sufficiently....and i cant "up" the tooth count for the spur gear too large as it would hit the x braces on the gmaxx and cause bidding issues with the dogbones to the front and rear diffs as the angle goes steeper as the tooth count goes up.

hence my concerns....

Post pics when you sort it out. I'm curious to see it.

Thanks!

Cant believe its been 2 years since my last post in this thread! well lets start with a bang!

Slight short out problem, first time I have run 18 cells, I was a little concerned the schulze was going to pop and when I saw the smoke I thought it was toast. Turns out the washers holding the velcro down had worked through the heatshrink on the cells, better than the speedo going

I machined up some end blocks to hold everything in place a bit better and even managed to find 2 more cells with similar figures to rebuild the pack!

Not a lot else has changed on the truck, pretty much as it was, switched the airtronics 200 oz/in servo for a hitec 333 oz/in, much better.

I just got back from running it, clutch was slipping a bit too much maybe it glazed over? anyway I will upload video later on

I'm glad to see you're back Candyman. Maxx Bling was the inspiration for my e-maxx addiction, and I've built several since I started this hobby. You do awesome work, I especially like your custom chassis solid axle trucks. Keep up the stellar work!
