Posting the final (for now) product - 10.19.2006, 09:30 PM

So, as I had already done the FD purchase - I went with what I had for my first noob project. Have I learned a lot - hells yeah!! After several multiple dealings with FD I have just found him very slow to respond on problems - when I asked him about the XLT4 motor I got a very lame answer about it being his own production and not being able to give out the specs, but it being ample for the LST2, etc.... blah...blah... But I do really like the hardened clutch bell items that he sells - they are really great against a metal spur gear.

So just as a side note on the XLT4 - i saw a scribble on the cap for the can about it being a XL7 - so my guess would be a variation on the Feigao 7XL.

I have finished the conversion with some mods of my own - the FD kit was just kind of a starting point before I found this forum. So I wanted to share a few pics of the final product.

I am running:
XLT4 motor
2 x 4s 3700 mAh (two run in parallel)
9920 esc
Apogee LOA
2000 mAh lipo receiver pack with Novak voltage regulator
Hitec titanium high-torque steering servo
OFNA Torsen differential upgrades (they rock)
Kyosho CVDs front/rear/center

Next project is my LST2 - for which I am buying product from Mike here - I sent him an e-mail and his reply was very detailed and informative.

No longer a noob - but still a lot to learn.
