I have a hard time seeing a 11lb truck go over 45mph on 12 cells. Maybe with a Neu, but still... 40 is concievable, but I wouldn't count on much more.

Best bet would be to up the voltage 14-16 cells, or better yet 4 or 5s lipo. A neu (2200kv, 1515, 1Y) would def take you there then, and so too should an XL motor like a 7 or 8 (if 5s). Can't comment on the Neu 1512's. Obviously this is dependent on your exact setup, but should be a close ballpark.
