I've been running the UBEC from the rc-monster store. I also have a 13T pinion I could have ran at the race but I forgot it at home. DOH!! From reading the quark heatsink threads, I know for certain that adding heatsinks and fans will go a long way in keeping things cool. It did not thermal at all when I had the esc/fans/heatsinks tucked into the black box.
My neu 1515 1y came over the weekend from Mike but the feigao ran fine during the races. Will the more efficient neu drop the temps on the esc? Or does having a more efficient motor only affect motor temps and runtime? |
