By the way it sound you want a basher that doesnt cost a lot of money. For a basic upgrade you can try running the emaxx on 14 cells if you already havent. It is supposed to get you 30+ mph. Then you can mess around with the gearing to give you the results that you want.

When you upgrade to brushless you are going to have to upgrade your drivetrain (cvds, maximizer diff cups with rrp ring and pinion, etc) I will be running the novak HV Maxx brushless setup on mine. It is pretty mild compared to what others are running but I have heard of someone breaking the sliders on just 12 cells.
