Different tires handle different.
The more rotating mass the more strain on drive line.
The more weight the more stuff can break in a crash.

Boy howdy, I agree 110% here! I put a set of Hot Bodies 7" tires on my stock emaxx and that rapidly toasted my rear diff, twisted my driveshafts and ripped apart a universal carrier in the center driveshaft.

Sure looked cool tho, hah! :028:
