Steveo, if you have the side guards still on your truck, you will have plenty of room to mount two 6-cell nimh or nicad packs, one on either side for balance, without modifying or removing the servo tray or radio box.

I would NEVER put Lipo packs along the sides, though, especially on the plastic side guards, because Lipo packs won't put up with much abuse, bumping around or a hard knock in a crash - they simply are not as rugged as typical nimh or nicd cell packs.

i dont have the truck yet just gettin info, in the pictures i see it does not show side guards does it come with the truck, or can i get some.
